I write... well starting too, sort of poetic, to me they have a bit of a deeper meaning... and no they dont have to rhyme. haha thanks english class. but still... do you think a blog should just be your opinion "Raw" out of your brain? Brain-stormed and tossed around to make it sound professional? Go all out and make it "You"?
I think for now... Im the only one at least attempting to be written "litera-tury" "poem-y like" hmmm... it's cool, I like it that way, Being different, as I mention occasionally on my blogs :)
So, what do you think?
Thanks!~

I agree with the girls above. Your blog is absolutely and 100% about you. Whether you want to put forth a raw stream-of-conscious style of writing, or a well thought out, researched piece, both are valid. Perhaps you are writing for your readership; what do you think will be most interesting for them? Perhaps you are writing as a form of personal catharsis; what is most important to you? You can be poetic, you can create fictional stories, etc. etc. The possibilities are endless. You may develop a certain style that runs throughout the entirety of your blog posts, or you may find that you like to switch up your writing frequently. Good luck finding your niche within the blogging world!
This is an excellent question–one which I spend time thinking about often. I think you should do what you feel comfortable with doing. It may also depend on the specific topic that you would like to discuss and where you are coming from in regards to your feelings or position to your topic. Have you tried the different approaches you mentioned when you blog? Which have worked out best for you? Again, what do you feel is right and/or which style do you feel more comfortable with? Experiment with your blog and you will eventually develop your own style. What's important is that you have a voice and that you can use it to inform others about your views. Your blog is your creative space, and you are free to do what you wish with it. :)
Ah, yes! Well said, Daisy! We should not constrain ourselves, instead we should work on writing in a way (or in ways) that clearly expresses who we are and our views. Hmmmmm.

I think your blog is yours. We should not have to conform ourselves or our work. The presentation of the writing should accentuate your writing, so if as the author you feel the spirit of your work is best in a certain form, do it in that way and be pround if what you've created.
yes thank you for your opinion :)
