I think we can all say that our own mother is like no other. There are instances when we see our mothers in a completely different light, perhaps a little older or a little tired, when we come to appreciate her even more. I can remember counting spare change on top of our kitchen table so that I would be able to take the bus to school. I remember my mother's hands smelling of copper after she was done counting the change and walking me to the bus stop.
