As I was thinking about what to blog today, I was thinking about the importance of being bilingual. I am proud to say that I am more than bilingual. I speak English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. My passion for learning languages is what motivates me to keep on wanting to learn how to speak in a different language. I don't really understand people, especially Americans, who say that they don't need to learn another language because English is spoken everywhere. It's not only about…

Does this really matters? I think everyone has thought about this question many times. Have you been in a situation where you were very angry at someone? Have you been sad beacuse of something, or someone? I think if everyone is honest, all of us can agree in having passed for a similar situation, and the question that might passed through most of us is, does this really matters? Of course you think about this question after you got angry, or after you cry for hours, and if…

A couple of weeks ago I had an eye-opening moment. It's pretty silly because I couldn't believe I was so blind or so caught up in fiction. I'm with my girl friends
enjoying girl time while watching Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami when all three
of us just realized how fake the show is. We were disappointed in ourselves for
believing that some people live lives based on glamour and money. We were
disappointed…

All through high school I was close to only one girl but would not talk to her about personal things affecting me. I was always iffy about girls. I'm sure there are many girls out there that feel the way I did but once I came to college I met hard-working girls that made me feel so comfortable. We have fun together, we study together, we get things done together, and most importantly we confide in each other. There is no judging involved in our relationship, just assistance, support, fun,…

It’s difficult to balance one self, for example I’m a very passionate person. When I get involved in an issue, or organization I truly dedicate myself. However, my weakness is that I sometimes take it to the extreme. At one point, or maybe I’m still going through it, I was passionate about feminism. I was all about not getting married, not believing in fathers walking down their daughters down the aisle, hating cheerleading and hating girls that…

Wow! Last night was amazing! I hope some of you all were able to make it to the pre show! A lot of fans were there enjoying the music and meeting the artists. I saw Ana Isabelle, PeeWee, and Cristina! All the females went wild when they saw PeeWee! They started screaming and jumping to see him. It was fun to see all the artists embrace their fans and treat them so kindly.
Ana Isabelle is nominated for Best Female Artist along with Alicia Villareal, Diana Reyes and Cristina.…

Today and tomorrow I will be assisting with the Texas Latin Music Awards hosted by Univision. Tonight at 5 p.m in front of the Long Center is a FREE show for anyone who wants to go and see the artists perform LIVE. It will be outside so you won't be able to miss it. Tomorrow night is the actual Award show and you will need a ticket to go in. You can go to Premiostexas.com for more information on how to buy tickets.
Last year I helped out and met some artists like Tati, Bobby…

I admire the couple that decided to do away with the extra stuff and live simply. The woman has minimized her closet and her life by limiting herself to 100 items.
I don’t know what I would bring if the house was burning down, much less 100 items for the rest of my life. They are working less, earning less but enjoying life more.
That’s one of my goals, to try to simplyfy the items in my…
