classic gender dispute

I found it very interesting reading an article about Miley Cyrus and Taylor Lautner and how the public criticized their pictures differently. We all remember Miley's questionable pictures taken at a photo shoot for a magazine. It gave the allusion she was not wearing a shirt because you can see her bare back and like a towel or blanket covering the rest of her body. Have you noticed a lot of pink around lately. Pink is more than a fashion statement; it is for a great cause. October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, so wear your pink ribbon with pride. Minor Misdemeanor for Rapping

Two teens were cited by police this week in Utah for rapping their order on a McD's drive-thru!

Really? For rapping?

Having worked in a drive-thru for years (at DQ when I was 16 and at Starbucks when I was 18+) I've come across some crazy people that do and say crazy things, especially on friday nights, but I never would've thought that rapping an order would've been serious enough for a ticket.

Just one of those days

I had today "one of those days." Its the day that everything seems to be going wrong and when you think it couldn't possibly get any worse... it does. To Get the Shot or Get the Piggy Flu???

My mom came into my room today and told me that because I work with children so often, it was a possibility for me to be considered a priority in getting the swine flu vaccine. Great! The problem is...I DON'T WANT TO GET THE VACCINE!

I think it's too new and not tested enough to be a safe option for me. I don't know what the side effects are both in the short-term and long-term.

I went to the mall on friday after work for some much needed shopping relief. Why Is This Still Being Allowed to Happen??

I read an article today regarding hate crimes targeted at Latinos. The article cited FBI stats regarding crimes occurring against Latinos as being on the rise.

"FBI statistics show that anti-Latino crimes are on the rise. There were 595 anti-Latino crimes in 2007, up almost 40 percent from the 426 crimes in 2003; the Latino population in America grew only 14 percent during that time," the Latino News article said.
