In El Paso- snow...

Okay so aside from my contempt for anything holiday-related, i also have a strong allergy to the weather that comes with Christmas. I HATE SNOW!!! Native American wolf pack in New Moon!!

Before anything else I have to say that the new Twilight movie was amazing. I actually believe it was better than the first one with more feeling and excitement into it. Giving Thanks

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I wanted to give thanks for some people in my life that I can always count on. I give thanks for my mom. She is a single mom and works hard to provide for our family. My aunt because she is someone I trust and I can turn to if I have problems. My friends because they are always there to make me laugh and we can talk about anything. Happy Thanksgiving!

Twilight/New Moon Which one is better movie or book??

Well as you may know "New Moon" the movie just came out on the 20th.

The day after tomorrow will mark the one day of the year where we're supposed to give thanks to the people in our lives as well as be grateful for what we have. Going Gaga

Today's a short one....

I bought the new lady gaga cd today before I went into the office. I love, love, love, love her!!!

It's awesome and her music is soooo catchy!

Keep PE

I think physical education is an important part of school. My school has cut down on the time for PE and think we should keep it. I was watching a show with people that were morbidly obese and found out that it is a growing problem in our country. These people were seriously eating themselves to death. I think having classes like PE helps promote a healthy lifestyle and encourages people to get active. As girls we aren't always encouraged to play sports, but this is a good way to explore… Continue

First Our Breasts and Now a New Panel of Doctors is Targeting our Vaginas?

A new set of results that were just released last night by "a separate, and non-related" panel of doctors from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists say that women do not need to get pap smears until they turn 21 years old (as opposed to 18 previously) or three years after their first experience with sexual intercourse. What's the Deal with the Mammogram Scandal??

Earlier this week a panel of doctors released findings on a study they worked on. In their findings they said it is unnecessary for women under 50 to get mammograms. Currently guidelines state women ages 40+ should be getting their yearly mammogram.

While the findings of the panel said contrary to current guidelines, they do not apply to women considered "at-risk" because of family history.

PE

So the question is do you think P.E is important? I think it is, not all the time are students given the opportunity through out the day or do like to exercise. The U.S. is one of the top or even possibly the top country to find obesity. The need for P.E to exist in schools is there. The fact that there are test or even grades I don't think is important. George Lopez's Tonight Show

So yestreday I watched the George LOpez Show and it was pretty cool. I have to say though he makes a lot of dirty jokes and at times I thought it wasnt siutable for TV but overall it was a good show. New student orientation :)

In January I will be starting my junior year at UTEP. I am so excited and on Saturday they had new student orientation. We started off the day of the does and don't in school. Don't plagiarize, even your self, (which I found out was possible). Do sit in the first rows of the class and join organizations on campus. The killings are destroying our friends.
