Set goals for yourself. Both long term and short term.
And when I mean for yourself, I mean FOR YOURSELF, not for anyone else.
I know your parents and your school may have expectations of you, but what do you want for YOU?
Maybe you’re thinking, I’m really young, how can I possibly think of what I want for myself? But NO! That’s the wrong way to think. You are capable of determining what you want in the present (now) and in the…Continue

Through my life I have learned from personal lessons (and those of friends) that there is always a wrong and right way to go about handling the boy(s) in your life. We’ll never fully understand them but we also aren’t supposed to, just like they’re never going to understand us.

This past week, my Latinitas were visited by special guest speakers to share about themselves and their careers in relation to media and technology. There are countless people out there that want to help and CAN help you feel safe again.
I know it is scary to tell someone what is going on, but it is not okay for you to feel hurt and afraid. You do not have to…Continue
My experience with Latinitas has been incredible!
Every week, I look forward to seeing the bright and beautiful faces of my girls. No matter how my day is going or how stressed I feel, my girls always improve my day and put a smile on my face.
It has now been a month and a half since my experience as a Club Leader began. Every Tuesday and Thursday, I have the opportunity to work with 10-15 awesome young girls. Participating in activities from writing letters…Continue
