When I listen to music from a different era or watch movies that depict certain events my mind wanders. Most of those people are dead, sick or old. Elderly are constantly pushed to the side yet they have some of the most amazing stories. I look into their faces sometimes and wonder about their experiences. I'd love to tell those stories, the stories of unsung heroes. Of people who were the first of many or the ones who changed our future. Maybe I think in depth but honestly every single one of us has an amazing experience or story and it would be a shame for us to die without sharing it. Most journalists just want to live in that fast paced world of 24/7 News. I just want to research and tell a story.... thats it. Tell amazing stories and experiences.I don't like hard news but I'm aware I will probably have to do it anyway. I just want their youthful hearts to live one more time before its too late. .... maybe I should write a book.hmm....

Maybe you should've been a history major too. :P
True...as reporters, we're bound to get hard news assignments. But I'm sure you can still have fun adding life into complex, hard-facts stories in a way that's more appealing to readers.
And I completely agree about everyone having an interesting story to share!
