Hey everyone! Super sorry it's been so long but as I said before I've been really busy, our first football game is tomorrow (or today, depending on when you're reading this) and we've literally been prepping for this for a couple weeks.
So, as you may or may not know, I am a big sister to three little monsters. Their names are Emilio, Landry, and Elijah. Emilio is 13, Landry - or Lala as we call her - is 8, and Elijah is 5.
Being a big sister is a big part of my life and don't get me wrong I love my siblings with all my heart, but sometimes it gets kinda difficult. And sometimes it is a challenge. Like when my sister steals my clothes, or when my brother argues with everything I say.
There are a ton of responsibilities that come with being the older sister in the family. But not every family is the same so the responsibilities might differ. In my family I tutor my siblings when they have questions on school work, I give advice when drama comes about in their lives, I protect and stand up for them when someone decides to mess with them, and so much more.
However, in my cousin's family they seem to have a lot more responsibilities than I do. Both of their parents work almost if not every day of the week. They are responsible for not only the same things I am, but they also do a ton of housework and cooking. They make sure that their little brother does what he is told and they get him ready for school or if they are going somewhere. They also do everything they can to make sure their parents don't have to worry as much.
So I guess you can say that compared to my cousins I don't have to do as much and every time I hang out over their house I make sure to help as much as possible. My chicas are the hardest working teens that I know and even though one is technically younger than me and the other is only a year older, I definitely look up to them.
Being a big sister takes some hard work, but at the end of the day, when your siblings tell you how much they love you, it's all worth it. The best part of my day is definitely when my siblings get home from school and run up to me yelling "SISSY!!!" and then jump into my arms.
That's all I have for today lovelies!! Hopefully I'll be back soon!!! Until next time, make sure to follow me on all my social medias - Twitter: @Hey_im_Dallas and Instagram: @Dallas_G98 and also check out my personal blog over at Lifeofateenchick.wordpress.com
