Well, to start off I'm Brianna, and I'm new here, and it's been great to meet some people already, I'm half Mexican, half American, but if you see me and I told you I was Mexican, you would probably walk the other way thinking I was a liar!?!? Haha, I mean it just shows how stereotyped we are sometimes, but hey, looks can be deceiving. Even though I've only been here a couple days I already feel apart of this family.  (:

 

 

Latinitas is a great organization, and it gives a strong voice for Latina youth ( even half Latina), it gives confidence to some teens to know your not alone, people have gone what your going through. I feel blessed to be in this community, and organization, and to be Mexican! So one last thing, thank you too everyone who has welcomed me with open arms here, I really appreciate it (:

Brianna I am the exact same way. My mother is hispanic, but my father is not. Many people don't believe that I am hispanic, but thats ok because I embrace both sides of my heritage no matter what others think or say.  I love Latinitas because everyone is open to individuality and uniqueness, yet every girl works together to make this world a better place.

woooooooo!!! Brianna, you're just as Latina as any of us and I'm so glad you're part of this organziation that emabraces our Latina culture. 

 

You should meet my friend Alyssa, 100% Latina with green eyes and blonde hair.  so no stereotypes here, Latinas are all of different colors and sizes and that's the beauty of it. We're all unique and share a strong bond in common.
