What an intimidating question!
There are sooo many important ways to address this, but I will keep it brief and focus on issues that are particularly close to my heart.
If I were first female president I would work hard to ensure that not only are women in the USA treated with respect and diginity but that our sisters in other countries are as well.
Reality is, though discrimination and misogyny [a dislike of women] exist in this country we are also INCREDIBLY lucky. in many other countries in eastern hemisphere there are places where women are treated little better than dogs. Many African countries practice genital mutilation and in some Middle Eastern locales women are beaten, even killed, for leaving the house alone.
It hurts me deeply to know that this is a way of life, an accepted reality, for millions of women across the world and throughout history. If I were first female president I would implore American women, lucky as we are, to join forces to fight for our foreign sisters.
