Culture is formed through language, beliefs, religion, and traditions amongst other things. Basically, culture takes part in every person's life on a daily basis. All that you do to carry out traditions, the languages and terms you speak with, and religious practices shape who you are. Think about all the things that make us unique. Not only do we all look very different, but everyone has differing opinions that also lead to the individuality in the world.
I come from a long line of Mexican descendants. My parents were the first of both families to come to the United States. Although we still practice many Mexican traditions, my own culture has seen the American influence. Many times when getting into discussions with my aunts, they tell stories of how women are "meant to stay at home" and "raise the children". To them, this seems seemingly normal; they were taught this at a young age. To me, this is just a reminder of how my beliefs and culture has made me different from them. Yes, we have things in common, and we always will. Yet as things change everyone can see how culture is constantly changing. Even between our parents and us, our cultures won't be exactly the same. They may be influenced but people's individuality shines through and our cultures become as unique as we are.
