I've always been really into music blogs like Blalock's Indie Playlist, Brooklyn Vegan, Pitchfork, Noisey, etc. I've always wanted to make one but kept running into excuses for myself. So here it is Becky's April Playlist hope you like it!
First artists I wanted to highlight were the Arcs. I didn't hear about them until last week.LAST WEEK! Can you believe that? If you think they're very reminiscent of the Black Keys you are on to something because the lead singer of the Black Keys is also the lead singer for the Arcs. So it's safe to say if you like soulful rock you'll totally be into this.
Top songs in my book:
It's never too late to fall in love with older music from the Chemical Brothers. The songs I'm feeling right now are in the 2000-2010 era. They are electronic, but not the EDM kind of genre that they play at SCMF. This music is more for the person who likes to space out and let the music do the talking.

Going further back in time, (to a point where I wasn't even born yet), the Kinks was a band that kept producing hit after hit.
