Nominate Someone for Top 25 Under 25

This month, as part of Hispanic Heritage Month, MyLatinoVoice (MLV) is compiling a list of the 25 most influential, most visible, and most admirable Latinos who are 25-years-old and under. From celebrities, to athletes, to community leaders – Los 25 are the brightest young Hispanic faces of today.

Since HHM is right around the corner, our deadline for nominations is Wednesday Sept 9, 2009 (less than a week away).

Criteria:
1. Nominees must identify as American Latino, Chicano, Nuyorican or United States Hispanic (regardless of race or background). As long as the individuals in question identify as US Latino, they have a fair shot on our list.
2. Nominees don’t have to be American-born, but they must identify as American Hispanic. Our list is about American young people who are paving new ways for other American Latinos/Hispanics.
3. Nominees must be 25 years old and under. If the person was 25 at any point during 2009 then they are eligible for our list. We do not discriminate on the basis of education, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or gender identity. Our goal is simply to acknowledge the contributions of young Hispanic leaders 25 years and under.

Nominations:
1. Please send us a short bio (200 words or less) outlining why this person deserves to be included on our list of young movers and shakers. Note: this blurb may be published on MyLatinoVoice.com (with appropriate credits, obviously).
2. Please include the person’s full name (as they wish to be listed on the website) and a recent photograph.
3. Photographs should be no larger than 600px wide or 500KB in file size. Please be sure to include the name of the photographer so we can appropriately credit him or her.
4. Our list will go live on Monday September 14, 2009, the day before HHM begins.
5. The list of Los 25 will be included in our re-launch publicity materials during HHM.
