Is it me or does anyone else think that Florida is jacked up.
First it was with Casey Anthony and now well, Zimmerman. Maybe Florida is getting a bad rap as the bad state of the country. Truth be said, in these cases it was obvious of the public were justice wasn't served.
I wish things like this didn't happen, but they do people.
If a murder like this happened in Texas, you'd be sure to find Zimmerman a guilty man. The Casey Anthony story was another disgrace. Sadly, rallies won't stop a thing, but its a good place to start.
On a related note, Zimmerman was painted white in the beginning. Newspapers often referred to him as "mr." and now, well not so much. Instead there is that agreement that he may very well be Hispanic and the hate is large.
Hate among the Hispanic population to be exact. How great. Hate solves nothing. I truthfully think it was a race related issue as most are saying, but I would really love to get off topic and ask, "So, with all the race related issues in the press, are we that much closer to a more unified nation? Or are we going backwards and bringing racism back into our lives?"
This is a hard time for everyone, but we need to make everyone aware that this is reality.
Not to sound so narcissitic, but does anyone else feel that times will get any better? If so, what changes will we go through to make that life happen?
I would love to hear your thoughts.
