The Hardest Part About Being A Female

I think that for me the hardest part about being a female is the way we are brought up in this day and age to be insecure because of images in mainstream media. I think that mainstream media puts the woman in a place where her looks matter more than anything else about her. I think that young girls feel nowadays so much more pressure than ever before to look and act in a certain way. It is hard because the majority of people get their information through the media which is constantly pushing women against each other as well as making them seem weaker and not as smart as men. That is why I love what Latinitas is about, because it is an outlet where us girls have a voice and are able to change the way the media is representing women for the better. :)
