Join hundreds of attendees from across the country that will participate in workshops designed to teach them the skills needed to create positive change in their communities, and to advocate for one the most important issues of our time, comprehensive immigration reform. Power Summit participants will also put their new skills to work with a day of advocacy on Capitol Hill. The event will end with a press conference featuring Congressman Xavier Becerra, actors and Co-Chairs of Voto Latino's "I'm Ready for Immigration Reform" campaign, America Ferrera and Wilmer Valderrama, and others. Power Summit is the premier event designed to develop the next generation of American leaders -- we want YOU to participate.

More than 300 young leaders from 18 different states came together for the inaugural Power Summit in 2012 to learn, share and organize their plans for changing their communities from the ground up. Speakers included Voto Latino Chairwoman Rosario Dawson, Co-Chair Wilmer Valderrama, United WE Dream Co-Founder Matias Ramos, former U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marin, labor and civil rights leader Dolores Huerta, media expert Cenk Uygur, and others.
Empowered by their Power Summit training, organizers were able to do amazing things:
- In Maryland, Power Summit organizers helped pass the DREAM Act.
- In Arizona, they stood bravely in the face of the racial profiling law, SB 1070, to help drive record registration and turnout among Latinos.
- In Texas and in New York, they organized massive voter registration drives.
- Across America, they flexed their muscle, and they made sure our community's voice was heard.
