plan to enjoy

Recently I got a subscription to netflix. My roommate and I have basic cable, so we dont really get a lot of movie channels. That is why I subscribed to netflix. Its only about 10 dollars a month to be able to watch unlimited shows/movies online and get 1 movie of your choice in the mail. It has actually been really useful for me. Sometimes when I am bored and there is nothing good on tv, I will just pick a national geographic show or a movie that is on their instant list and I will watch it.I…See More

Taking time for reflection

This Spring Break week was fantastic for me. I spent four days in Padre Island, Tx where some of the more nicer beaches in texas are located. I decided to take the trip to take some time off from the same routine I go through during my usual weeks. School, work, school, work, homework, school, we all know the routine that our lives can bring us into and one day you just get tired of it. During my beach time, I thought a lot about how beautiful our oceans, animals, and how lucky we are sometimes…See More

Spending Time Outdoors

In today's world, many of us go to school, work, and are inside a building, house, or place. I think a lot of us do not realize that there is so much you can enjoy doing outside. When I was a little girl, I remember going to the park with my sister and riding my bike or rollerskating. It was so much fun! Of couse, when you are a little girl a lot of things are more fun than when you get older. Anyway, I was just recently thinking about my life and how I do not spend enough time outside.…See More

Valentines Day: El dia del Amor y la Amistad

Sometimes we think Valentine's Day is just for couples, married couples, or celebrating romantic love.In reality, this holiday was established in 496 AD! This very old tradition was mean to celebrate any typeof special relationship that we have with people. Yes, that includes friendship, friends, and any love and care you can have for a person. You do not have to be older or in a romantic relationship to celebrate it.When I was younger, I remember buying valentine cards for all of my friends…See More
