Hi my name is Natalie and I recently joined Latinitas. I am glad to be a part of this group! Well, I am a senior at the University of Texas at El Paso, my major is Communications-Print Media. I am a summer grad I will finish my college credits this year. I am very excited to finally finish up my college career. I love to do photography and I love martial arts! I do not personally celebrate Hispanic Heritage month the way most people do, however, I do attend local church bizarres. They are fund raisers for the church and people within the community attend and participate in the events that go on. I remember going to lots of bizarres as a child and those were the most fun I have experienced. I thought President Obama did very well addressing the children on education. He pin-pointed exactly what almost every child goes through when it comes to education. He also address the fact children have to work hard for what they want, to achieve the goals no matter what people say. High school can be a very hard time for most teenagers, I for one was very shy around new people. However, I eventually grew from the shyness later on in my years. What helped me the most was finding the right extra circular activity, although most of the activities around school were not of my interest I found the newspaper and yearbook fascinating. The most exciting part about going back to college would probably be meeting new friends, attending new classes and attending football games. The thrill of getting ready to start a new class to see who you might know or who you'll get to meet. The football games are my favorite times, getting together with friends and family for tailgates.
