I woke up this morning with a bad case of the sniffles. It felt a little chilly and much to my surpise and dread I saw snow falling outside my dorm room window. "Oh geez, groundhound day was a week ago?! No snow please!," I thought.

To be honest, I think I feel a bigger community feel to Latinitas than I ever had with Facebook.
True, I try to create networking happen on Facebook, but I still feel so disconnected from everyone. Latinitas is a mini-community. I often feel very encouraged to let my fears known. Like its okay to make mistakes almost as though you all were family.

Let's face it: Everyone compares.
It's when we compare and judge ourselves so harshly that it begins to affect our self-esteem. True, I've done it far more often during my early teen years, but I notice it never stops. I am 24 and still comparing myself to others that I feel I will never match up to. I compare my grades, my clothes, my choice of music and my style preferences.
