When I was younger my mom always cleaned the entire house all by herself. I'd go to school and my room would be clean when I'd come home. I grew up with a stay at home mom so she always cleaned and cooked for us. This was nice I never lifted a finger and when she would ask me to clean something I remember i would get really upset. I never really appreciated all the things she did for me until I moved out.
When i moved out I was working full time and going to school full time so I rarely had the time to clean. I would clean late in the evenings or early before school really quick. I've learned that I picked that up from my mom I can't stand having dirty dishes or seeing things out of their place. It feels different when you clean your own place, you enjoy it because its yours. Not like at my parents where I hated to clean. So in short it is true how they say that you pick up traits from your parents. Little things do get stuck to you. So I thank you mom for raising a clean girl :)
Not only in my own home but here in the Latinitas Office. Lately it had been looking a little crowded and neglected. Today I came in and Sonia was cleaning. I jumped in happily. I like to see things nice and organized and especially clean it makes me feel accomplished.
