The Fall semester is finally here! While summer was fun, this new semester seems to hold a lot in store. I was feeling slightly overwhelmed by the amount of things I had happening my first few days but it seems that I'm adjusting to this new academic year very well. I think I am most excited about my philosophy course because it is taking the theoretical into practice. An interesting idea for a subject area that most deem to be purely theoretical.
I am also jumping back into student activities. With Hispanic Heritage Month upon us, it seems that the Office of Student Activities and my student org are in a frenzy to put everything in order. Hopefully everything will come together!
It feels good to be back on campus. The view when I was coming in on moving day:

What a beautiful photo!
Wow amazing! Looks huge. I bet that the inside is as gorgeous!
Thanks! I go to Catholic University in Washington, DC. That's the picture of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (national basiliqua) which is right on our campus. Biggest church in the United States!
The first week of class is always the most hectic! Amazing picture btw! Which university do you go to?
