Hi girls! I have just read this short article at PlayGround about Cristina Quinones, a 21 year old Latina who is "giving Adele a run for her money", according to the article's title.
She was born in Atlanta Georgia and started her career at 12 years old. Girls, she has done over 900 shows with important companies such as Telemundo and Univision! Among her important events, she has performed at Latin American countries such as Dominican Republic and has even sang the National Anthem for Atlanta Falcons.
Following her own channel at YouTube she has made a lot of covers focusing on pop and soul music genders. She has over 4,948 followers on her YouTube account and her videos have been spread all the way to Europe chicas!
As a Latina, she of course has covers where she sings in her first language: Spanish. You can find songs of her like "Lo Qué soy", cover from Who I am from Nick Jonas and The Administration and her cover for "Sorry" from Justin Bieber where she actually talks in Spanglish.
We can notice how she is a valuable singer from Atlanta girls, just by knowing she has several performances there and she actually won Best Latina Female Award from the Georgia Music Awards in 2014.
Just starting to realize I now have a favorite Latina singer girls!
I leave you with the video of her cover of "Hello" from Adele:
