Teen Media Academy (spring break) The End !! :-(

Ok, it saturday and I'm just browsing through the website. Teen Media Academy is done! :-( All of the girlies were amazing! We had another guest from El Paso Times Maria Cortez, and she showed the different parts of the newspaper where she is a contributor. It's pretty awesome to visit different beautiful homes to then feature her stories. During the week, we also had a film student and gave some tips to the girlies on media. We also had news reporter from KFOX TV..... I didn't get to meet her but I heard it was really educational. There were other guest speakers that I didn't get to see but like I said, it was all good!. The girlies made 2 videos where they came up with the story line, they acted, produced, filmed and edited it all on their own. The results were cool and they all did a great job during the whole week. Altogether, it was so fun!! All of these young ladies have so much potential. Their ideas are awesome, and watching them express themselves and come up with so much was just amazing. I will be posting some more pics so keep an eye for them !!!! Kudos to all of the Latinitas volunteers! Each and every one of them contributed to the success of this past week !!! Woo hoo !!!
