Latinitas - A Strong Voice for Latina Youth

Spotlight a Latina who has changed your life and/or history.

My Tia or aunt Dolores. I think she is a good example or a successful Latina in the United States. Although she came to this country without having any perspective on what was going to happen in the future. What she did was that she had to give the best of her to be successful. Although she is not rich or owns anything she maintains a community good and happy.

A woman that inspired me is Rosa Parks. She showed me to help and fight for what you believe in. When she helped she was not only helping herself she helped others.

My mom has inspired me to be great in life. She herself is a single mother raising three kids with her love, support and strength. She has overcome many obstacles in life and has kept it together through it all. When I think of her I see great power in what she does. I will always admire her great work and dedication that she has for her worth and kids.
