I recently had a Thanksgiving potluck dinner with my friends at college. We each brought a different dish that ended up creating an excellent dinner.This fun dinner with friends sparked my thinking in terms of how well this applies to American culture. It is interesting to see so many articles online talking about work-life balance for working adults. However, the more I feel pressure to do so many extracurricular activities, work, and study, it makes me wonder why we do not talk to teens about this skill.It seems a student's day is never over. First Week of Classes
The Fall semester is finally here! While summer was fun, this new semester seems to hold a lot in store. I was feeling slightly overwhelmed by the amount of things I had happening my first few days but it seems that I'm adjusting to this new academic year very well.
